Eagle Valley Raptor Center specializes in native Kansas Birds of Prey. These include Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Kites, Falcons and Vultures.

Tours: EVRC offers exciting, up-close and personal Guided Tours for your group or organization.

The basic Guided Tour is approximately one hour and a half long. A $5.00 donation per person with a minimum of 8 people is suggested.  Program will include an educational, up close, out of cage viewing of several of our birds, and 'touchables' are available for children such as wings, feathers, and talons.  Cameras are encouraged, as this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young people to actually interact with such incredible birds.

Birds that are included in the program are a Harris Hawk, Bald & Golden Eagles, Great Horned Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Barn Owl, Barred Owl, Red & Gray Screech Owls, American Kestrel, Eurasian Eagle Owl and Turkey Vulture.

Owl Pellets are available on request for Science/Biology teachers or Scout leaders. We include instructional material with directions on how to dissect them and a skeleton chart to help identify the bones that they find.

Tours must be scheduled ahead of time and may be set up by calling (316) 616-7446.
