The City of Cheney provides water, sewer, natural gas and trash/recycling service on one convenient statement.

Other utilities within the City include Cox Communications for internet, phone, and cable services. AT & T also offers internet and phone services. Ideatek offers internet.  Dish Network and DirecTV offer satellite service.

Monthly Bill

Citizens should expect to receive their Cheney Municipal Utility bill on the first of every month. If payment is not received by the 17th, a 10% late charge is calculated and added to the bill. Any account that is not paid by the 30th will have their utilities turned off for non-payment. 

Paying Your Bill

The City of Cheney offers residents several ways to pay their utility bills. Customers can pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card at City Hall, Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5pm and Fridays 7:30 am-1:00 pm. Payments can also be placed in the drop box located by the front door at City Hall. Customers may also sign up for automatic bank draft to be debited from your bank account on the 15th of every month. Sign up by completing the ACHBank Authorization Form.. Customers signed up for ACH Bank Draft can sign up to receive their Utility Bill via  email!  E-Statement Sign-up


Or customers may also log into the online utility site to pay by debit/credit card.
