The Cheney Police Department consists
of 5 full time officers with 24 hour coverage. The police department
provides bicycle safety training and serves as a crossing guard at
the school.
Going on vacation soon? Call or visit
City Hall to fill out a Vacation Home Report, or download
it in PDF format. The Cheney Police Department will conduct extra
patrols of your home while your are away. We recommend you leave an
outside light on, and put inside lights on timers. Stop delivery of
your paper if you will be gone for a long period or make arrangements
for someone else to collect your papers. If it looks like you're
home, even when you're not, the odds of a break-in at your home are
signficantly reduced.
