City is accepting bids for pickups

The City of Cheney is accepting bids for three pickups:

1980 CHEVY CUSTOM DELUXE 20 pickup with utility bed, 4.1 Lt V-6, 4 speed manual, odometer reading 77,728.

1985 FORD F250 pickup with utility bed, 4.9 Lt V-6 automatic, odometer reading 09320.

1987 FORD F150 pickup with long bed, 4.9 Lt V-6 automatic, fuel injected, odometer reading 22,462.

Sealed bids will be accepted no later than 10AM, February 1, 2010 at the Cheney City Hall, P.O. Box I, Cheney Kansas, 67025.  The envelope must be clearly marked “Bid”.  Each pickup is offered for sale in “as is” condition and may be viewed between 9AM and 2PM, Monday through Friday, at the City Maintenance Shop, 311 East Ave. 316-542-3815

The City of Cheney reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  Accepted bidder will be required to remove the vehicle within two weeks of written notification of acceptance.  Payment must be made by cash or certified check within two weeks of written notification of acceptance.  Possession given upon receipt of payment.
