The sights and sounds of the midway, the smell of Pronto Pups and barbeque, the taste of a cool sno-cone on a warm summer day - that's the thrill of the Sedgwick County Fair.

Every July people from across Sedgwick County converge on Cheney for the annual fair. Special events include concerts, a bull blowout and a demolition derby. The carnival midway is open every day with special discounts available on the first two days.

Other events include a parade down Main Street, 4H and open class exhibits including livestock, arts and crafts, talent show, commercial booths, a petting zoo, and many other family- and kid-friendly activities. Delicious food and snacks are available from a wide variety of vendors.
